QTIS Premiers for December

It was a great end to 2018 for trainers Peter and Will Hulbert (pictured) and Ben Currie, who were named the leading QTIS 2YO and 3YO trainers respectively.
The Hulberts had a very Merry December with $36,750 in QTIS bonus prizemoney, Ben Currie and Tom Button were equal second with $21,250 each and Les Ross the third highest earning QTIS trainer for 2YOs on $19,200.
The good month saw the Hulberts propel from tenth position into third on the table for the Season, with Toby Edmonds and Ben Currie remaining one-two.
Ben Currie was the top 3yo QTIS trainer in December earning $32,150 ahead of fellow Toowoomba trainer Matt Kropp who had $21,250 while David Vandyke and Ricky Ludwig were equal third with $16,200 in QTIS bonuses.
Les Ross remains the overall leader with $133,250 in QTIS bonuses so far this season, David Vandyke has $123,400 and has once again jumped ahead of Steven O'Dea who has $117,300.
The leading 2yo QTIS runner in December was Oh Five Glory with $36,750, Boomstress, Kwikilla, Mishani Spirit, Royalist and Woohoo Girl all hit the post with $12,750 in QTIS bonuses for second while Mishani Desire rounded out the December trifecta on $10,500.
Mishani Spirit with $49,500 and Oh Five Glory, $47,250 have pushed Champagne Jet, $43,800 into third position on the seasonal table for 2YO QTIS performers.
Aetherius was the leading 3YO QTIS performer in December and the $16,200 prizemoney earned saw him move up into third position on the seasonal table with a total of $57,900 in QTIS bonus prizemoney, behind Hold the Line, $84,000 and Defence Missile with $80,500.
