ELIGIBILITY A - Queensland Sired
FREE
What Does Free Mean?
- Horse must be Eligibility A – QLD domiciled stallion
- All obligations with ASB - mare returns and parentage must be carried out as normal. Imperative that this is submitted to the ASB for the Breeder Bonus purposes.
- No requirement to submit any nomination forms or fees to RQ for Eligibility A horses
Reminder – Foal Ownership Declarations
Upon submission of mare returns, you will be directed to the Foal Ownership Declaration function. For your convenience, all live foal mare returns entered by you will be displayed if the Foal Ownership Declaration is outstanding. If you do not wish to complete the Foal
Ownership Declaration at this point, you or the owner can access the lodgement at a later stage under the 'Online Services/Foal Ownership Declaration' tab on the menu bar.

ELIGIBILITY B - Breedback
The progeny of a non-Queensland based stallion, provided the dam is covered by a Queensland domiciled stallion in the year the foal is born.
Eligibility B (Breedback) must complete all obligations with ASB and submit nomination forms and payment as normal – Nothing has changed.
FIRST PAYMENT
A discounted First Payment of $770 (GST inc) made on or before 31 October 2023; OR A Late First Payment of $1,980 (GST inc) if First Payment is made after 31 October 2023 but on or before 30 June 2024.
FINAL PAYMENT
A payment of $550 (GST inc) made on or before 30 June 2024. This assumes a First Payment has already been made.
To be fully paid up and eligible to win QTIS bonuses, FIRST and FINAL payments must be made.
FULL PAYMENT
If a First and Final payment have not been made, full payment of $2,530 (GST inc) is required to be paid by 30 June 2024 to fully QTIS register your horse.
FINAL LATE ENTRY
If previous payments have not been received a late entry payment of $3,500 (GST inc) on or before 31 August 2024 will fully register your horse. Without exception, there will be no extension beyond this time
