Breeders Bonus

HOW IT WORKS AND WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

The Thoroughbred Breeders Queensland Association and Racing Queensland have worked together closely to design a reward for Queensland breeders that is exceptionally rewarding.

Since August 1, 2015 the breeder, or person responsible for paying the first QTIS instalment, is be eligible to receive an amount equivalent to 6% of the QTIS winning prizemoney each and every time that paid-up horse wins a QTIS race for 2YO’s and 3YO’s.

Since September 1, 2019 QTISx BREEDERS' BONUS is applicable. Breeders, or person responsible for paying the first QTIS instalment, will receive $10,000 for Group 1 races and $5000 for the remaining black-type races and features prescribed in the QTIS Outlined section of this website. These are for QTISx winning horses only.

This is a fantastic incentive for the Queensland breeding industry and a way for breeders to reap the rewards for producing successful progeny.
