Owning a horse in Queensland can be a unique and very rewarding experience.

Whilst it is true that Queensland doesn’t have the same level of prizemoney that both NSW and Victoria currently boast, the stark reality is that the cost of racing a horse in the Sunshine State (trainers fees, vets, farriers etc) is also far less than what is required in those other states. Couple that with the fierce competition experienced in NSW and Victoria against the likes of the big Godolphin, Waller, Waterhouse and Snowden stables etc. and many people consider that owning and racing a horse in Queensland is far more likely to result in success than anywhere elsewhere in Australia.

But without question the single biggest advantage of being an owner in Queensland is QTIS! No other State based incentive rewards owners and trainers like QTIS does.

Up here in Queensland – when you own a QTIS horse you race for more and it costs you less!
