2017 Qld Stallion Directory

It’s here! We are proud to announce that the highly anticipated 2017 Queensland Stallions Directory has been released.

Thank you to all the studs, old and new, who have supported this year's publication which will showcase the cream of the Queensland crop.

There is absolutely no doubt that Queensland racing and breeding is now a state very much on the move and there has never been a better time to breed in Queensland.

QTIS remains the best state-based incentive scheme within Australia and the rewards will be enormous for all participants.

With QTIS fillies and mares lining up for a prizemoney cheque of almost $77,000 to the winner every week and colts competing for almost $65,000, owners and trainers simply can’t afford not to be involved – it is genuinely the very best prizemoney in Australia on a weekly basis.

With results from the recent QTIS Sale showing that competition from owners and trainers for quality QTIS horses is going from strength to strength, the onus is now firmly on the shoulders of breeders in Queensland to ensure they deliver a product that buyers want.

Another real point of difference for those breeding to Queensland sires this season, is the potential to keep earning money over the next few years through the wonderfully structured Breeder’s Bonus Scheme. This sees a return of six percent of the winners QTIS prizemoney for the progeny of Breeders Bonus nominated stallions.

A special thank you to Lisa Frappell for once again doing a tremendous job in co-ordinating this Directory and TMPC for producing a top class magazine that the TBQA Committee is very proud of.

Ten thousand copies of the Directory will be distributed across Australia, including to all our TBQA members.

If you are not a member and would like a book there are numerous distribution centres, whose details you will find on our website, an electronic version will also be available on the TBQA website, or we can post you a copy for a $15 postage fee, simply contact the TBQA office on info@queenslandbreeders.com.au or 0412 026 540.
