Queensland bred runners continue to impress on the national stage.

This week there were another two winners in South Australia, with a race-to-race double for Queensland at Morphetville.

Red Eclipse, by Eureka Stud sire, Red Dazzler, took out the James Boag's Hcp (1200m).

Wattle Brae Stud stallion, Raheeb, immediately followed with Clair first past the post in the Aloha the Movie Hcp, also over 1200m.

Back home, Glenlogan Park sire Real Saga's latest star, Sagaronne (pictured, Dan Costello Racing) was terribly unlucky in the Group 1 BMW JJ Atkins.

The 2yo had to go back to near last from a wide gate, with jockey Blake Shinn forced to weave a passage through the field.

He was held up in the early part of the straight which cost the filly momentum and ultimately the race, running a narrow second to Press Statement.

The promising youngster will now head to the paddock for six weeks, with connections looking to the Melbourne Spring Carnival and the VRC Oaks.
