QTIS Premiers for March


As we pass the halfway mark of the racing season, there's been some movement on the QTIS Premiership tables.

Krystle Johnston (pictured) has jumped from third to first on the 2YO QTIS Trainer's ladder, with $115,350 in QTIS bonuse prizemoney so far this season. She's pushed John Zielke into second on $107,900 and Tony McMahon is now third with $93,000.

The change follows a terrific month for Krystle, collecting $42,900 in QTIS bonuses as the leading 2yo QTIS trainer for March, with Tommy Dougall second after banking $18,000 and John Zielke third on $13,750.

In the 3YO's, Rex Lipp had the best month, collecting $73,500 in QTIS bonuses with Scott Morrisey next after banking $38,550 and Ben Currie nipping at his heels with $38,150 for March.

That has resulted in some changes to the 3YO Trainer's Season table. John and Chris Meagher remain as the leaders sitting on $176,200, but Ben Currie has jumped from fifth to second, earning $129,700 so far this season and pushing Tony Gollan into third on $117,650.

It was Craiglea Velvet and Craiglea Cetina who helped Krystle Johnston rocket up the Trainer's Premiership table. 'Velvet' was the leading QTIS 2yo for March after winning $25,500 in QTIS bonuses, and 'Cetina' came in third with $18,000. Stella's Dream, by Drumbeats, divided the two Craiglea horses, earning $16,200 in QTIS bonus prizemoney.

The collect saw Craiglea Velvet move into third position on the 2YO Seasonal table, with $41,700. Lady Lark, by Golden Archer moved up from fourth to share second position with Show a Heart's promising young juvenile, Ruby Red Heart, both collecting $42,000 in QTIS bonuses this season. Top 2yo Paradis Imperial maintains her clear lead at the top of the table, with $105,750 in QTIS bonuses.

Red Dazzler's latest star, Our Beebee was the leading QTIS 3yo in March, winning two races and collecting $73,500 in QTIS bonuses. Perilous Love, by Love Conquers All, banked $36,750 to finish the month in second spot while Dream of Ascot, by Exceedingly Good was third with $19,650.

As a result, Our Beebee has moved into second position on the seasonal table wtih $86,250, sitting behind Thunder Raider $94,950 and pushing Ringo's a Rockstar into third spot with $71,500.
